September 21st - Waddell Beach Party!

We had a small family wedding on June 22nd at Mele's family cabin near Kyburz on the South Fork of the American.  It was a very special day for us, but we missed celebrating with many of our friends so we're hoping you'll join us for a beach party!

We've received special permission to have our picnic on a bit of private property bordering the Waddell State Beach shown below.  Waddell is located 17 miles North of Santa Cruz and 30 miles south of Half Moon Bay.  This is beautiful place with an amazing beach, windsurfing, hiking, biking (here's a link), surfing and hang gliding.

Getting to the site:   There is a lot of parking at the state beach access north of our site.  It is about a 15 minute walk from the parking lot down the beach around the lagoon.  There is also parking at the bluff, near the airstrip where we hang glide along the highway.  From there you can walk down a road to the beach and back to the site or directly along the highway.

What time?:  We'll be there from 11:30am till late afternoon.  We hope you'll join us for lunch from 12:30 - 1:30pm.

What to bring:  A chair, sun protection and a windbreaker, water and your favorite Waddell beach toy(s).

What not to bring:  Food or drinks, No gifts please
